3. Read Amy Tan’s “Rules of the Game” pages 110-119 in class
4. Do “Literary Analysis: Protagonist and Antagonist” questions on page 119—questions 1-3
5. Co-operative work with a partner next to them…no need to get up and move:
a) Do “Review: Characters” on page 119 with a partner; make the chart (1 chart per co-operative group of 2) for 3 of the following characters: the 2 brothers, Vincent, Winston, the father, man in the park, and Lau Po.
6. HOMEWORK:
a) Re-read Amy Tan’s “Rules of the Game” and answer questions 9-10 on page 119
7. They may pick up their notebooks from the top of Mr. Odenthal’s shelf at the start of class.
